Dodge Challenger Demon teases harder shafts for the strip

A promo video named "Muscle Heaven" has surfaced which takes scenes from the movie long with promo footage, which is then sewn together to form a convincing sequence, that is set in the world of the Fast and the Furious.

We also learn that the Demon gets a new four-point harness bar for use on the track. To make sure the punishment won't send the vehicle down below, Dodge comes with parts such as a modified prop shaft that can handle 15 percent more torque via thicker tubing and the use of high-strength steel. The differential housing uses a heat-treated aluminum alloy and stronger gear material to handle 30 percent more torque. These high torque spikes can quickly and severely damage driveline components - and up until now, the only solution was to back out of the throttle. Being that the rear seats were removed, the mounting points are easily accessible, without cutting or drilling anything inside the auto. Remember, nothing is a coincidence and everything means something.

In the coming weeks, Dodge will continue to bring fans and followers in on more details by slowly peeling away layer upon layer of the new Challenger SRT Demon via video shorts that highlight the engineering that has gone into its development. Dodge has teamed up with toy manufacturers Mattel and Jada Toys to create die-cast and remote-controlled versions of the Fate of the Furious' four-wheeled cast.

In addition to television and social media ads, the partnership will include a variety of licensed Dodge and Fate of the Furious themed goods such as scale auto models and smaller diecast cars.

The Fate of the Furious will hit theaters on April 14th - just a day after the debut of the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon in New York City. The massive tie-in marketing will also be promoting both Dodge and their performance wing - SRT.

The first television ad in the campaign, entitled "Muscle Heaven" stars Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez and prominently features the Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Viper.
